Get to know me!
Liv Hernandez (she/her) is a New York City-based performing artist and filmmaker currently studying dance and media and arts management at Marymount Manhattan College. Liv is native to the New Orleans area and began her dance training at Modern Conceptions of Dance where she studied various dance styles and performed works by Melissa Jackson, Destini Rogers, and Brian Rabenda. Liv has performed the past two years in Marymount Manhattan's Mainstage Program in "Tensile Involvement" by Alwin Nikolais, staged by Alberto del Saz (2022), and "In her Image" by Thryn Saxon (2023) and "I See You" by Earl Mosley (2024). While in New York, she has completed programs with Steps on Broadway, DOVA Dance, GALLIM, and DanceLab NY. Professionally, Liv has performed as a dancer in a multi-media contemporary show called "Ending the War on My Body" created by Katherine McClintic. Liv is a passionate, positive, and hard-working artist who seeks to tell stories through multiple medias and continue to make the arts increasingly accessible.
